Frank Parker died from tetanus on 24th March, 1915, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no further information concerning his death The 2nd Royal Berkshire battalion was part of 25 Brigade, 8th Division that had arrived in France in November, 1914 and had been in the line near Laventie since then. From 10th-15th March they saw some heavy fighting during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle. |
